IT IS A LITTLE ROUGH TODAY | IT IS

"My philosophy is: It's none of my business what people say of me and think of me. I am what I am and I do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. And it makes life so much easier" - Anthony Hopkins.

Lincoln once said: "You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry". So what makes you angry? A few of you may say 'making macarons', some would say 'being betrayed' and others may think 'unpleasant things'. I'll take things like this:

'Making macarons' is a passion. It's still going on.
'Being betrayed' is a circumstance. It's the past.
'Unpleasant things' is too blurred. It's the future.

To me, I am angry about what's going on right now, which is my passion, fashion. I think I'm in love with it more than I thought.

This is not what fashion is. Pull down to the end to see what it truly is.

I had dinner last night at Paris Deli on Nha Chung street. Dessert only. It was Valentine, yes. But it was more than just a day to give and receive. I finally decided that I'd put my love life aside and focus on my career. A part of me accepted the fact that I'd die alone, old and dry. The other parts kept telling me: "Let it be". So I let go.

Let it be. Try The Beatles or Glee. I go for Glee.

I have a bike now. I'll repaint it, buy a new bucket, bags and a few other things. I love riding only 2 things, one is bike and one is car. Motorbike is not my thing. Besides, I'm poor, I don't have money for gas or oil or whatever it is.

Have you ever tried living on your own?

Anyway. There are 3 major things for me: knowledge, relationships and money. I'm having chances to gain the first 2 things, so I don't mind having little money. I know it takes patience and belief to finally have them all.

I miss school sometimes. It was my pride and my home.
I wonder what you guys are doing in college now. Is it fun? Do you have lots of knowledge and experience from what you learn? Tell me. Enlighten me. Or just ask me out, I need new friends.

I'm looking forward to Tuesday. I could make it or break it. I remember crying almost every day during the first month I started my job. I didn't get the way we were working, I felt small and insecure. I burst out into tears when I had coffee with my friend because I was stressed. But I put myself together and kept improving myself. I'm better than that.

And I quit smoking. Successfully.

Fashion. It's annoying and lovable.

MY FIRST DAY OFFICIALLY AT THE STUDIO | THE GIFT WHEN U FOLLOW UR PASSION

As I was too careless this morning, I had to find a sunny place in the studio to work and not to feel like dying inside. The day LOOKS good but it still FEELS a lot cold. While finding my paradise of sunshine, I discovered this, A beautiful tiny comfortable spot where I could smoke and write evt I want, without too much noise. Getting there is quite dangerous, I went half way then had to go back. I'm terrified of height.

I couldn't arrange my stuffs in orders, I don't think it was necessary. I sat down, made some researches about fashion - culture in the 20s and found amazingly real, imperfectly perfect information. I wondered why we'd never learned those things before, we only focused on what was boring and not true instead.

Cốc trà k đc uống, clutch tự làm, tạp chí k tự mua, sổ để ghi chép tất cả mọi thứ.
The studio is messy, which is totally suitable for creative ppl to make their art comes true. I walked around with a thirst of getting all those designer's clothes on my body, feel the elite needle work and enjoy the essence of fashion. The quality, I mean.

I've came across some confused minds lately. Some of my friends can't make their minds up between passion/talent and reality, which is bullshit. I disapprove the way older ppl keep telling us 'Get real', and can't stand the fact that we young ppl are going to surrender. There's no reality or imagination. You decide. I'm making money with what I love. I'm building plans and ladders for my dreams from small to bigger and the biggest. I'm not in college now, fashion is my education. After 5 months, I've become a completely different person, without any school, just what I love. It's beyond all 12 years I spent for books and homework. It's hard to adapt to this lifestyle, I know it takes time. So the only thing I can do for my dear friends is encouraging them, making them feel better and believe in themselves. I'm so proud of my friends, they're so talented, potential and strong.
Yeah :D
The sooner you follow your passion, the quicker success comes to you (pardon my rhythm). If you have any problem of that, we should talk. I don't mind if we're strangers or friends-who-just-know-the-names, the society needs you, I wanna be your friend. I haven't got to anywhere yet and I still have so much to learn, but I'm not going to stop. I'll try food photography, graphic design, opening a dessert restsurant, PR & Marketing, styling, writing, learning new languages, help my sister make her dream come true and more. As long as I live, I'll learn and do evt I can. So will you.

Wanna marry a Balmain guy! | Mang họ Balmain trong 10 năm nữa

This is absolutely why I'm obsessed with high fashion! Forget those reasons: "u'r just paying for the media fee" or "it's just expensive 'cos it has a brand", ur world would change entirely when u put on a nice Balmain tuxedo jacket instead of something made in chi-na (don't wanna write it correctly 'cos I don't wanna pr this country for free or with any price in any way).

Chiếc áo trong mơ của mình - Belted satin-trimmed wool tuxedo jacket

Just have a 3s-touch on the jacket, feel the fabric and let every needlework kill u softly, u'll know the reason why Balmain offers such a crazy price.

Độc màu đen và thêm gold!!

This piece of art can make u feel powerful - have a look at the shoulders, highlight ur sexy classy waist with two golden buttons in front, and still shows ppl that u'r a beautiful young lady with a luxury taste (the arms r really fitted, it would make u older if they were loose).

Giá của em là $2,987 - no problem nhỉ
If I'm not working but going out with friends, I'd choose a Balmain embellished cotton-jersey t-shirt. It catches the light, it highlights my personality, makes sure ppl know my style and most of all, it goes well with metallic, which is totally suitable for daywear and nightwear.

Giấc mơ thứ 2 của mình, 'bé hơn một chút' - Embellished cotton-jersey T-shirt

$1,480 - vẫn theo rule All Black Everything

For the evening events, a Balmain wool-twill mini dress would lift my mood up high to da sky. I can still feel classy, blackie, 'no-bra-ie' and sexy without showing too much. Black for the evening - because it goes well with metallic! Flawsome!

'Diamond-shaped dream' - Balmain wool-twill mini dress

$3,890 :D
So yes I'm being fashion paranoid right now. But with this kind of motivation, I'll try and try harder to get there. There will be a day when u and I can walk down the street with an outfit from Balmain head-to-toe, and the only thing we worry about would be our career, not our unwanted-but-needed job. Hehe, I can see that coming! (did i break the atmosphere when I used hehe?)

Afternoon tea | Trà chiều | From dreams to real things, real brands.

I talked to Ceri, my new supa-cool friend this afternoon (like I said in the last post, I'd be sitting at Cong Cafe, but it wasn't on Nguyen Huu Huan st, it was on Dien Bien Phu st instead). I sat there waiting for her finishing the article, looking around watching ppl and drinking hotttt lemon tea. I was kinda feeling like we were gonna discuss st great today because..

Tư tưởng lớn bàn luận ý tưởng. Tư tưởng vừa 'bình loạn' sự kiện. Tư tưởng nhỏ phán xét mọi người.
Then a man next to us passed Ceri an issue of FORWARD magazine, st she worked on before, he borrowed the mag from her I supposed. My curiosity was aroused of course: 'gotta check it out!'. Haha. And I did. The issue was amazing, really young, beyond all the rules, colorful, interesting images, eye-catching features, cool icons and most of all, it was st different from evt. I like the article called HUNGRY FOR FAME the most. It's time sb wrote st about it in a smooth, fair and nice way, if u know what I mean.

Bìa FORWARD magazine và trà chanh nóng (trà Dal..gì đó vắt thêm chanh).
CHẾT ĐÓI VÌ 'LỔI TIẾNG' TRÊN FACEBOOK.

Oh and I'm self-teaching Italiano, quite fun! Hehe.

Học tiếng Ý khó quá!
Then we walked down to the KAfe for brunch n dinner. Ceri's starting her own brand so it really encouraged me more on what I'm doing, which is building my own business - personal styling and fashion journalism. Ceri was thinking st international and odd, I was thinking about how to make it happen. It's great to be with someone who invisibly encourages u to do st bold, brave and true to u. Even greater not to have to try too hard and she still gets u. We both have crazy ideas, urban culture and high fashion for young ppl. Hope evt will go well for us cos we dream hard and work really hard for this!!

Ceri siêu mát (cool) lah lah~

Coffee addicted | Nghiện cà phê

I can't give up coffee!! Even though I tried thinking about tea or coke or soda or vodka, I still drank coffee. It makes me feel high and warms up my body like a cozy blanket wrapping around my veins. I'm thinking about tea this afternoon, reading my brand new just-printed book and sitting alone at Cong Cafe on Nguyen Huu Huan St. A friend of mine suggested I should sitting alone, watching people walking by like that cos it's geeky and sexy. Haha. I never tried it before but it sounds quite like me, I like watching people and things, as long as they don't know. Shhh....!
So if u'r in Hanoi right now, visit Cong Cafe, u might see me and we can have a lil chit chat. I'd love having new friends.

Không thể từ bỏ cà phê!
